Dr. David Cifelli graduated from Ramapo College of New Jersey, where he participated in an accelerated degree program, completing his bachelor’s in three years. He then pursued his education at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine (RSDM) in Newark, NJ, earning his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. At RSDM, Dr. Cifelli was recognized with the prestigious Stanley S. Bergen Medal of Excellence and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon honor society.
Following dental school, Dr. Cifelli completed a General Practice Residency at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ. He returned to RSDM for his specialty training in endodontics, where he also earned a Master of Dental Science degree. His research focused on the bacterial microbiome and pulpal inflammation in endodontic disease. Dr. Cifelli is dedicated to providing high-quality and compassionate care to his patients.
